Remote Learning Mini Series Kick Off!

Welcome back!  This week on the blog we are introducing a mini series that we will be focusing on over the next few months. Teachers across the world have adapted their instructional techniques and strategies to a remote or hybrid learning environment, and while we hope to be in person on a consistent and increasing basis over the coming months we want to give credit and highlight the many ways our teachers have adapted!

While technology has always been a focus in education, the remote learning setting has demanded all teachers to become experts in this field. Technology resources are always adapting and changing, just like our teachers. In the coming mini series you will see the level of commitment our teachers have taken to learn about the available technology during these remote months and their student centered approach to make technology accessible and engaging for all learner needs.

This mini series will also highlight the behind the scenes brainstorming and training that has happened to support remote instruction from our instructional team. The Instructional Team supports our teaching department through mentorship, professional development, resource creation, curriculum adaptation, and technology support. In tandem, the teaching department and instructional team have adapted and challenged themselves to teach in a new way as they continue to meet the needs of each of their students and this miniseries is here to celebrate and share all that they have accomplished.
