Many moments throughout the day we hear “Thank You”. Two simple words can mean so much and to many it is a huge accomplishment, because they realize the need to be polite and why they need to say “Thank You”.
A little gesture that has been taught to our students is often one of many large accomplishments the students, teachers, and families can celebrate as a success story. Understanding when and why we use words such as “Thank You” is a life skill. Receiving a piece of paper or a crayon and knowing to say Thank You means the student has grown in their vocabulary and has mastered why being polite is a common courtesy shared to others.
School is about helping students to interact with others, communicate in new ways and to share in new experiences. No educational program is as tailored to meet the need of each students as Giant Steps, so “Thank You” all for everything you do.
