Gustavo Estrada. Most of us know him as Gus. He is one of the most talented, skilled, helpful and humble individuals that I have ever met. Gus is a part of the Information Technology (IT) Department for Giant Steps and his official title is Technology and Multimedia Specialist.
What many people do not know or may not realize is that Gus does more than fixing and troubleshooting computers and other technology devices. I am proud to say that Gus is my teammate with completing the blog. Without his help, shooting video and taking snap-shots of Giant Steps’ students, staff, parents, etc., the blog would be incomplete. It would not come alive to show the “outside” world what Giant Steps is all about.
Not only does Gus work in IT, film and photograph for the blog, he is a part of the Development Team. With his creativity and his graphic abilities, he is able to connect the ideas that the Development Team wants to express in an abstract way. He creates MOST of the marketing materials that we send out for activities and events for Giant Steps, as well as our other programs, Canopy, The Rec Center, and Christine’s Dream.
